Freddie Mercury Was born on the 5th September, 1946 on the Tanzanian island of Zanzibar. Moving with his family to the UK he became lead singer of Queen - one of the biggest Bands in rock history.
Blessed with an amazing voice and incredible onstage presence, Queen's performances were always entertaining and theatrical. Who can forget the all-time classic "Bohemian Rhapsody", featured in the film Wayne's World - that scene alone become a classic.
